I wrote a short overview earlier about how to put Windows Server 2008 into use as a desktop os. Later on I discovered that the same CD burning feature that Vista has (just drop files to cd on Windows Explorer and tell it to burn) is not there.
A couple of days ago I discovered that there is a brilliant solution for my problem. ImgBurn will do it and many other tricks as well, and it is free!
