Personally I have to say, it is better to be known as a Master than an Architect :-)
This certification is not for everyone and is not just a level above MCDBA. It is also not for the faint hearted, This is a course that does test you, 7 days a week, just like real life.
I totally enjoyed (in the same way a DBA enjoys a server crash - it's a challenge) my time during the 4 weeks at Redmond. I was fortunate enough to have a great collection of fellow students from around the globe that brought fantastic war stories and varied real world experiences. The course itself was delivered from veterans of the product itself not just another MCT (not to belittle MCT people & courses), the depth of content and of the questions being asked was not something that one could just gather from a text book and repeating from MOC. It is this part that will challenge the people running the program to enable it to scale to be available throughout the world.
